Deborah Green, or “Debs” as she’s fondly known, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her Finance and Payroll Manager role at Coastal Advice Group. With a background spanning over 28 years in finance, auditing, and compliance, Debs ensures the business runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Deborah’s journey into finance was inspired by her father, who encouraged her to pursue her love for maths and numbers. From working as an auditor at the ATO for over two decades to helping charities navigate GST reporting, she has developed a unique balance of technical expertise and a people-first approach.
But for Deb, it’s not just about numbers; it’s about the people behind them. She thrives on ensuring accuracy and fairness in payroll, helping staff understand financial processes, and ultimately contributing to a profitable, well-run business.
I love knowing that everything is straight and correct. It’s not just about getting the numbers right—it’s about supporting our team and ensuring they are looked after. That’s what makes this job rewarding for me.
Beyond finance, Deborah is a passionate community leader, volunteering as part of the pastoral team at Central Life Christian Church, where she also serves as treasurer. Deb has a love for rugby league and cricket and when she’s not balancing budgets, she’s likely hunting for bargains or spending quality time with her daughter and her two grandchildren.
